Hello, gang!
My wife and I purchased a new home in Allen (new to us, not new construction), and we’re interested in upgrading. We’re researching floors and countertops, right now.
My question is:
How often do I need to seal granite? I hear different opinions from people at work and I want to know the answer from a professional.
Typically, over the counter sealers are not adequate to seal grainte and require sealing more often. This is where the various opinions on how often granite needs to be sealed originates. We use professional strength sealers that the manufacturer instruct us to reseal every 5-7 years. All of our new installs come complimentary sealed. For more information on products and natural stone care in your home, call or come by today.
Thanks Stephen H.

We are looking to upgrade our kitchen floor with travertine. I am curious if you feel it is easy or challenging to maintain. I hear it needs sealed, but so does ceramic tile if you want to keep the grout clean. What is your opinion?
